Angelina County authorites were able to catch a man wanted on more than 20 different warrants after he was allegedly enjoying his music a little too much over the weekend.

On Sunday, at 1:18 p.m., police were called to the 1500 block of Briarwood Drive on reports of loud music coming from a vehicle in the area.

When an officer spoke with the suspect, later identified as Richard Flores, 26, of Lufkin, they learned he was wanted on 23 warrants: driving while intoxicated, display expired license plates, driving while license invalid (two), failure to maintain financial responsibility (seven), loud/disturbing/unnecessary noise (two), no driver's license (six), no seatbelt, public intoxication, speeding and unrestrained child under five-years-old (two).

Flores was booked into the Angelina County Jail. His bail amounts total $11,360.

Too often the pathway to citizenship ignores the cultural divides between a people responsible in their role as law abiding, tax paying, lose it all in one mistake, from those who fiesta on freebies knowing that Mexico is an available sanctuary.

I am so impressed with the tenacity and devotion of our police. Here is a moron, running around with 23 warrants for his arrest. Some of the charges against him are extremely serious. I guess the men in uniform were to busy committing their own crimes, that they had no time to apprehend this menace to society.
Good job you people in uniform - Being sarcastic of course.

23 warrants ...what the heck does someone accumulate 23 warrants without goin to jail ....we are damn lucky he didn't kill someone...whats wrong with our system that we don't have the checks and balances to keep this from happening
