A second Holly Lake Ranch resident is behind bars after being sought by officials on an animal cruelty charge.

Jared Williams and Johnny Munoz have been charged with cruelty to non-livestock animals and torture after an aggressive dog call came into the Wood County Sheriff's Office.

Munoz, of Hawkins, was arrested, January 8, after officials were called to his home in the 100 block of Willow Branch, Tuesday. Authorities secured a warrant for Williams and he turned himself into officials on Friday.

Both men were booked into the Wood County jail on $10,000 bond.

This is going on all over the United States. They are taking herds of horses, cows, dogs, cats, rabbits. There is big money in taking these animals and shipping them all over the United States. Its the biggest case of animal cruelty and saying they are saving the animals What a crock of crap. Just look at all the dogs in shelters look in their eyes their ears are down and they are either terrified or their stare is blank. THERE IS BIG MONEY IN ANIMAL TRAFFICING AND THATS EXACTLY WHAT IT IS

And the police didn't have a search warrant. Johnny & Jared took great care of their animals. Wood County does what they want to whomever they want. They did nothing when my uncle was murdered, let the killer go back into the house to pack his things. They handled the case with no care or attention to details. Don't live in Wood County if you're gay because they'll allow terrible things to happen to you & no one will get in trouble. They'll even frame you & lie about why they kill your dog. BS

"When law enforcement arrived on scene, Deputy David Hitt and Sgt. Jacob Richardson detained Munoz and felony animal cruelty charges were filed"
Jared and Johnny WERE NOT HOME. They turned themselves in to clear this up. Please correct this story if you care about the truth. This is an absurd hate crime against two men who loved their animals. This is all because their neighbor said their dog ate their dogs. I mean, really??! No investigation was necessary? You'll arrest someone based on hearsay

I've known these guys for years and this isn't even the real story. That's a picture of Jared by the way. They weren't even home when it happened. Wood County police and the community are discriminating against them because of who they are.
Why can't the media spread truth instead of gossip and lies? Get your facts straight before you try to ruin someone's reputation. Do your research, stop spreading hatred, and don't believe everything you hear and read. These men were good to their animals.

and all of u know nothing. neither Johnny nor myself were even home when this happened and we both turned our selves in . our dogs were not tourtured in anyway except that the cop killed my baby girl that had just given birth to 8 beautiful puppies......that are now motherless.....and they also broke down my door and took all of my animals that were in perfectly good health. I don't get how ppl get away with putting false information out there like this for everyone to see and get away with it

How about an 'eye for an eye' treatment on these bastards...

I HOPE THEY GET THE PRISON TIME THEY DESERVE, THEY NEED TO BE TREATED JUST LIKE THEY TREAT THEIR ANIMALS... OUR ANIMAL CRUELTY LAWS ARE TOO LAXED IN TEXAS. I WOULD SEND THEM TO PRISON, THOSE KIND OF PEOPLE HAVE NO COMPASSION AND THEIR IS NOTHING YOU CAN DO TO MAKE THEM CARE.. THEIR HEARTLESS.... GO TO PRISON, I HOPE THEY GET A JUDGE THAT SENDS THEM THERE....... POOR ANIMALS, THEY HAVE HEARTS AND SOULS TOO, GOD CREATED THEM ALSO.......

wouldn't surprise me if drug charges come about as well
