An East Texas man who was accused of being involved in a 2011 gang rape of a Lufkin teenager has been sentenced to six years in prison on probation violations.

Timothy Joseph Headley, II, 24, of Lufkin, was found guilty of a lesser role in the ambush and rape of a 16-year-old girl.

According to the Angelina County Sheriff's Office, in 2013 Headley was sentenced to five years deferred adjudication and a $500 fine for his participation in the crime, but due to probation violations, he will spend the next six years of his life in prison.
