ETX officials seek Union Pacific battery theft suspect(s)

Gregg County, Texas (KETK) — Sheriff Maxey Cerliano and the Gregg County Sheriff’s Office request assistance in obtaining information in a burglary case.
Between midnight on Saturday November 16th and 6:00 AM Saturday morning, unknown person(s) broke into a Union Pacific crossing station shed at the railroad tracks on Meadows Lane in Gregg County. The suspect(s) cut wires to the electronic equipment and took seven large batteries. Damage to the wiring and the batteries were valued at $2000.00.
