The Crockett Police Department is inviestigating a string of stolen vehicles.

Officers responded to two different locations regarding cars being stolen on Monday.

At around 7:20 a.m.,  officers were dispatched to the 700 Block of Polk Avenue in reference to a stolen truck and at 7:30 a.m. Officers were then called to the 400 Block of East Bell Street in reference to a stolen car.

Both of these vehicles were believed to have been stolen sometime during the night and possibly by the same suspect.

Both cars were recovered Monday, but found at different locations.

The investigation is still ongoing. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Crockett Police Department at 936-544-2021.

They know who the kids are. I don't understand why no charges were brought against them! Maybe because the kid's dad works for the guy whose truck was stolen! Makes me sick that there is no punishment for these boys. How in the world are they going to learn anything?
