A Longview woman is behind bars for allegedly burglarizing a house while the family was at a funeral.

Dana Michelle Phillips, 25, of Longview, was arrested by the White Oak Police Department on Highway 80, just before 9:00 p.m., Tuesday night, after a warrant for burglary of a habitation was issued for her arrest.

The warrant stems from a reported September 2013 Longview burglary in which Phillips is accused of stealing five television sets and a computer, among other items, while the family who lived in the home attended a funeral.

According to Phillips' Facebook page, she is a 2007 graduate of Pine Tree High School and is a stay at home mother.

According to Gregg County Judicial Records, this is not Phillips' first encounter with the law. She was arrested in September 2012 for driving with an expired license and again in August 2013 for theft.

Phillips met her $15,000 bond Wednesday night and a court date has not been set at this time.

Very, very sick person. To do this to a grieving family is beyond heartless. Bet you money she's a druggie. I have yet to know a single person who is into drugs to be trustworthy, I don't care if they've done the 12 steps program. They always seem to go back to the same 'ol ways of theft and drugs.

Yes, she is a druggie! AND was pregnant at the time! Feel sorry for her baby! Glad her man left her lying, cheating, stealing ass!

That's cold blooded.
