An elderly East Texas woman was tied up and robbed Monday morning in Longview.

It happened on the 6800 block of Judson Rd, near the Hwy. 259 intersection.

Authorities tell KETK, two or three men knocked on the door of the woman's house just after 10:00am.

They knocked several times, but the woman did not answer. Eventually, the men kicked in the door and assaulted the woman.

They then bound her with tape and put her in the trunk of her car in the garage while they took items from the house.

The men then drove away in an unknown direction in a white van.

The woman told police she only saw two men before she was put in the trunk, but she heard three voices.

One of the men is described as a tall, slim black male with no facial hair and a short haircut. He was wearing a dark colored hoodie. The second robber is described as a shorter black male wearing a dark ski mask and hoodie. The third man was not seen.

The woman was treated by EMS at her house, and was not taken to the hospital.

If you have any information about the incident, you are asked to contact your local law enforcement.

When she heard the knocking she should have retrieved a GUN. The word 'NO' carries much more weight when you have a gun in your hand.
