Upshur County officials tell KETK, Judy Langford, a substitute at Harmony ISD, entered plea of guilty to attempted sexual assault of a minor on Friday, May 17. 

She was sentenced to five years in prison.

Also in writing, she judicially plead guilty to attempted online solicitation of minor.

She gave up her substitute teacher certification and upon release from prison must register as a sex offender.

Langford has no prior criminal history.

Her initial arrest was after a grand jury indicted her.

so what if it was your son/daughter how would you feel then?

How ridiculous. 5 years in prison. Here is the ridiculous part...the average operating cost per State inmate in 2001 was $22,650, or $62.05 per day. So, tax payers get to pay $113,250 minimum for this woman if she serves her full sentence. How incredibly stupid. I heard an attorney once say..."We have the best judicial system in the World”. I wonder why he thinks that? If that be true, what about the rest of the World?
