Harrison Co. rounds up warrants for indicted drug suspects

Harrison County, Texas (KETK) —
The Harrison County Sheriff’s Deputies conducted a Wednesday morning round-up of nine suspected drug dealers in eastern Harrison County.
The Harrison County Grand Jury issued sealed indictments and capias warrants for the alleged suspects on Thursday.
Three of the indicted suspects were already in custody on separate criminal offense and the new charges are added to them while in custody. The six remaining suspects were awakened and arrested at their homes by the arrest teams.
All of the indictments were for the manufacture or delivery of a controlled substance. Several of the suspects had multiple indictments and warrants issued for their arrest.
The arrested suspects are:
Bobby Wayne Treece, Jr.
- John Smith, Jr.
The suspects who were already in jail on separate charges were:
- Bobby Wayne Treece III
Harrison County District Attorney’s Office, Waskom PD, Texas Parks and Wildlife Game Wardens, Judge Westy Meisenheimer, Panola County Sheriff’s Office, Waskom VFD ambulance, Panola County Constable Brian Murff and Harrison County Commissioner William Hatfield assisted in the coordinated effort.
Bonds range from $25,000 to $50,000 on all suspects.
