The Kilgore Police Department is seeking information on a Sunday morning armed robbery and car-jacking.

On Sunday around 4:00 a.m., Kilgore police responded to the intersection of Camp Street and Broadway Boulevard due to a reported armed robbery.

The victim reported a silver or gold colored newer model Dodge extended-cab pickup truck pulled in front of his vehicle and stopped. After stopping, three young black males and one young Hispanic male got out of the truck with one of them displaying a firearm. They then took the victim’s vehicle and drove off.

The victim had left a large party on Peterson Road in Rusk County just prior to the robbery and the suspects may have attended the same party. Police later found the victim’s vehicle, a white Isuzu Rodeo, abandoned. The suspect’s vehicle may have some type of large decal on the rear window.

The investigation is ongoing and anyone with information in regards to this crime can contact Detective John Rowe at 903-983-1559.
