A Longview man and woman were arrested Thursday after police said they beat a 76-year-old man and then a 56-year-old man with the elder man’s wooden cane, sending both victims to the hospital.

Mary Annette Johns, 42, and Jason Jerome Green, 33, were accused of aggravated assault with a weapon after the incident that took place about 7:45 p.m., according to the probable cause affidavits for their arrests.

“The victims stated that Green and Johnson beat the 76-year-old man with his own wooden walking cane, kicking him in the face, ribs and back,” the reports read.

Police said the younger victim attempted to make them stop and “yelled out he was calling police and dialed 911.”

At that time, the suspects turned on the man, according to the affidavits.

Which of these scum is the man and which is the woman? I hope Bubba hears about what they did to an elderly gentleman. The problem lies in the fact that "WE" the public will be funding their board and lodging for the next decade or so. I do hope they suffer much, as cowards should, during their stay with Uncle Sam and Bubba.
