Longview teen arrested after robbing victim, holding knife to throat

A Longview teenager is in jail after robbing a man and holding a knife to his throat.

Francisco Lopez-Mastache, 17, allegedly approached the victim when he was closing his store in the 100 block of West Harrison Road, around 11:15 p.m., Tuesday night. Mastache was reportedly wearing a blue hoodie and held the knife to the victim's throat while demanding his phone and jewelry.

The victim claims the suspect took more of his property from inside his car, then ran from the scene.

Officers in the area located the suspect a short time later.

Mastache was booked into to the Gregg County Jail without incident and charged with aggravated robbery.
