Longview, Tx (KETK) — Thanks to a tipster, Longview police nabbed a Louisiana man wanted for murder Wednesday afternoon.

At 12:15 p.m., Michael Gregory, 30, of Vivian, Louisiana, was found in the 1700 block of Alpine Road following a tip through the United States Marshals Service.

Local officers, along with U.S. Marshals, were able to take Gregory into custody on a warrant for muder without incident.

The suspect will be extradited from the Gregg County Jail to Caddo Parish in Louisiana.
