Lufkin Crime Stoppers offering reward for information leading to arrested of alleged car burglar

Crime Stoppers of Lufkin is seeking the public's help in identifying a suspect in a vehicle burglary and credit card fraud investigation.

A vehicle owner reported Monday night, January 27, 2014, an unidentified person(s) burglarized a vehicle parked at Trinity Mission of Diboll, located at 900 South Temple Drive. The vehicle owner reported a credit card was among the items stolen from within the vehicle.

An investigation into the vehicle burglary revealed that the stolen credit cards was used the night of the burglary at Diboll Depot, a convenience store located at 1605 North Temple Drive in Diboll. An investigator obtained video captured by the store’s security cameras and found that a black male suspect wearing a black hoodie, black pants, and black shoes. The hoodie appears to be AND1 brand, with “AND1” and other text printed in grey at an angle across its front.
