Lufkin man jailed after police find drugs during baby death investigation

Lufkin, Texas (KETK) — An East Texas man is behind bars after an investigation into the death of a baby revealed drugs.
According to the Lufkin Police Department, Ricardo Macias, 25, was arrested Tuesday for cocaine and marijuana possession in a drug-free zone.
The drugs were discovered while Lufkin police were investigating the death of a two-month old child who passed away two months ago at a home near Brookhollow Elementary.
