Lufkin police responded to a call regarding shots fired at the Lotus Lane Apartments Saturday night around 10:00 p.m

When they arrived at the scene in the 3300 block of Lotus Lane, witnesses said they heard the shots, but had not seen the shooter or shooters.

Police recovered mulitple bullet casings from .40 caliber and .380 caliber hanguns.

The investigation into the shooting is ongoing.
