Mother in Gregg Co. missing child case arrested in Louisiana

Longview (KETK) — A woman wanted by the Gregg County Sheriff's Office for interference with child custody was caught over the weekend in Louisiana.
Authorities said Ashley Elizabeth Harrell, 27, was taken into custody in Sabine Parish and transferred to the Gregg County Jail sometime this week. Her child, 4-year-old Maddison Harrell, was found safe in Arkansas.A civil procedure will take place in Arkansas to determine custody of the child.
The suspect was charged with interference with child custody, a felony offense. Her bail was set at $50,000.
Gregg County first asked for the public's help locating the pair on July 10.
KETK is working to gather more information surrounding her arrest in Louisiana.
