The Nacogdoches County Sheriff's Office arrested a Nacogdoches man that was found in possession of a half an ounce of crystal methamphetamine late Tuesday night.

Sheriff Jason Bridges tells KETK deputies made contact with a suspicious vehicle parked at a store located on Appleby Sand Road.

Upon contact with the driver, deputies discovered he was extremely nervous and evasive. Deputies obtained consent to search his car and found a large amount of methamphetamine.



Noah Juarez, 22,  was arrested for possession of a controlled substance, a second-degree felony, and booked into the Nacogdoches County Jail.

The street value of the crystal methamphetamine is $1,400.
