A Nacogdoches student had to be arrested Friday afternoon when he resisted police officers.

At around 4:30 p.m., a fight started between an 18-year-old and a 17-year-old boy. Shortly after, two girls also became involved.

Officers were notified of the disturbance and dispatched to the 2500 block of South Fredonia Street. When they arrived, police split up the students fighting.

The 18-year-old involved fought with an officer and was taken into custody.

During the scuffle, a student pulled a can of mace and sprayed it. The bus was evacuated and aired out before returning to its route.

No injuries were reported.

All students involved will most likely be suspended from bus privileges, according to Nacogdoches ISD police officer Ramior "Ram" Mendiola.
