Lufkin officers were dispatched to the 2300 block of North Raguet Street Monday to reports of an 'unbareable' sight.

When police arrived at the scene around 9:30 p.m., they found Rhonda Wright Humphries, 37, of Lufkin, naked and walking in the roadway.  She was only wearing an unbuttoned shirt with nothing else underneath, according to the Lufkin Police Department.

Humphries was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct, indecent exposure and public intoxication.

According to Humphries arrest record, this is her 10th public intoxication charge since 1998. She has also been charged with multiple DWIs.

This really isn't newsworthy. This poor woman needs help and not mockery.

But then, I have learned to expect this from an area which so frequently and smugly claims to be "Christian."

Its far easier to beat up on others with your alleged Christianity than to govern your own life by the precepts of Christ.
