NPD responds to disturbance, possible shooting victim call
Nacogdoches, Texas (KETK) — The Nacogdoches Police Department was called to a home in the 100 block of Meadowbrook Drive Wednesday afternoon in reference to a disturbance and possible shooting victim.
Shortly before 1:00 p.m., officers responded to the scene. They learned a man involved there was still at the home and a woman had left the area.
The woman later walked into the lobby of the Nacogdoches Police Department with an injury to her face. It was first reported the woman may have been shot in the cheek or cut with a knife during the disturbance on Meadowbrook. The injury did not appear to be serious and she was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
Medical officials determined the woman had not been shot, but did have a facial injury.
At the time of this release, NPD detectives and officers were still gathering information from witnesses and collecting evidence. No arrests have been made and no charges have been filed.
