Law enforcement is asking for the public's help identifying three people suspected of trying to break into an East Texas business.

According to the Trinity Police Department, at around 4:45 a.m on Thursday, three people, possibly men, attempted to make their way into the Trinity Quick Stop at Kelly and Prospect Street. After about five minutes, the alleged burglars drove away in two vehicles: a tan or gold Cadillac with a black top and a dark-colored Dodge intrepid or Chrysler Sebring.

The burglars were wearing hoodies and had covered their faces. The hoodies appear to have white letters on the front. They broke out the front window, damaged a security bar and set off the alarm. An officer arrived within minutes of being notified about the alarm.

Authorities have also learned of burglaries or vandalism taking place in nearby Walker County on the same night. Those crimes may be linked to this group. If you have information about these alleged criminals, please contact the Trinity Police Department at 936-594-2505 and/or the Trinity County Crime Stoppers Program at 936-642-2334.
