A cowboy holds up an east El Paso convenience store at gunpoint.

The man walked into the Circle K on McRae and Album just after midnight on November 19. Police said he waited until all the customers were gone to walk up to the counter and buy something. They said then he pulled out a gun.

“He ended up pulling out a handgun from his waistband, threatening the clerk and demanding money. The man fled with a small amount of cash and he was last seen running westbound on Album," said Javier Sambrano with The El Paso Police Department.

Police said the robber was a Hispanic man in his early 20s wearing a white shirt, a cowboy hat and blue jeans.

If you recognize him or have any information, call Crime Stoppers at 566-TIPS.
