The Lindale Police Department is urging citizens to be aware of their surroundings after a string of robberies have been affecting the area.

On June 27, 2013, around 1:30 a.m., an unknown male entered the back door of the Subway located at FM 849 and I-20. The suspect went straight to the register and took the cash drawer carrying it out of the store and left in a vehicle that appeared to be a large van.

On July 7, 2013, around 7:30 p.m., a man went to the Domino's Pizza on South Main Street in Lindale and pointed what appeared to be a semi-automatic handgun at the clerk and demanded money. The alleged suspect left the scene, running between the Domino's and neighboring building. It is believed a car was parked behind the businesses and used to get away before police arrived.

If you have any information regarding these alleged crimes or know of any other robberies that have yet to be reported, please contact the Lindale Police Department.
