RIDING DIRTY: ETX man jailed after sketchy driving leads to discovery of open beer, pot
Lufkin, Texas (KETK) — An East Texas man was arrested Saturday after authorities found him driving with illegal substances in the car.
According to the Angelina County Sheriff's Office, Michael Blackwell Jr., 21, of Lufkin was arrested around 1:00 p.m., Wednesday afternoon after a sheriff's deputy found him to be driving while in the possession of an open beer and a pipe full of marijuana.
The incident occurred when officials spotted Blackwell backing down Twin Oaks Road into oncoming traffic.
Blackwell, who also had a warrant from a December 2012 minor in consumption charge, was also found to have an invalid license and did not have insurance
