Smith County authorities are searching for two men who allegedly robbed a gas station at gunpoint in Tyler.

At 5:48 a.m., Tuesday, multiple patrol deputies and other Smith County Sheriff's Office officials responded to a report of an armed robbery at the Valero Minute Stop, located at 11874 Highway 64 West.

Early information indicates that two white men in their 20’s entered the Valero with a gun and took money from the register. The clerk said the men were wearing black hoodies, dark jeans and black covers over their faces.

The men left the Valero in an older model four-door, white Nissan Maxima and were traveling east on Highway 64 West.

The Smith County Sheriff's Office Criminal Investigation Division is at the crime scene and will handle the investigation.

If anyone sees a vehicle or the individuals matching these descriptions, please call the Smith County Sheriff's Office at 903-566-6600 or call 911.

Hopefully this Valero got busted for or had all of their synthetic marijuana, aka K2, stolen. The fact that they're still illegally and secretively (and have never stopped) selling this horrible destroyer of mind and health is disgusting. So many lives have been ruined by this stuff already, some of which are family and friends of mine. The owner of this place is nothing more than a gas station drug dealer. They had this robbery coming - karma's a b-word.
