Nacgodoches, Texas (KETK) — The Texas Medical Board has ordered the revocation of the license belonging to an East Texas doctor, effective immediately.
Dr, David Anthony Mosig, a contracted Emergency Room doctor at Nacgodoches Memorial Hospital, had a formal complaint filed against him in September 12, 2013, based off a felony conviction.
KETK spoke with the interim CEO of Nacogdoches Memorial Hospital after the initial complaint was filed and he said he had no knowledge of the incident but would look into it.
Mosig was ordered by a federal judge to pay back $375,580.09 to the government and serve two years probation after he was convicted of making a false statement on his income tax return. He claimed $0 in total income in 2004, 2005 and 2006.
Mosig has 20 days to request a rehearing.
