Trial for Tyler man accused in Azalea District murder to begin Tuesday

The trial for a Tyler man accused of killing a man at his Azalea District rental home is slated to begin Tuesday.

According to Smith County Judicial Records, Christopher Wiley, 39, of Tyler, allegedly shot and  killed Rodney Walker, 52, at Walker's rental home on East First Street on Monday, July 1, 2013.



Officials then say Wiley attempted suicide and was arrested after he was released form hospital care.

He remains in the Smith County Jail on $500,000 bond.

I don't condone killing in any form including a state's claim to be able to do so.
Having worked in Medium, Max & Super Max prisons he's going to regret:
1) killing the man
2) not being successful in killing himself.
While other inmates can be troublesome, the problem is with the guards or CO's (Correctional Officers) as they like to be called.
Some are wannabe cops who couldn't make the grade so it tells you the gene pool we're working with.
About 85% are bad, the others turn a blind eye.
