Tyler, Texas (KETK) — The trial for a man suspected of murdering Keeston Dwone Fields and seriously injuring John T. Woods, will be rescheduled, according to the Smith County District Attorney's Office.
The trial for Marquel Jermon Scott, who is charged with murder and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, declared a mistrial, at no fault to the defense or the prosecution, but because of a problem with a witness statement.
