Two East Texans arrested after deputies discover meth
Nacogdoches County, Texas (KETK) — Two people were booked into jail Monday afternoon following the disovery of more than six grams of methamphetamine at a Nacogdoches County home.
On Tuesday, investigators with the Nacogdoches County Sheriff’s Office were looking into a string of burglaries when they came across two people in the 1800 block of Press Road. The suspects were acting very nervous and were known drug users.
Investigators received consent to search the home where deputies found 6.6 grams of crystal methamphetamine in the living room. Also found in the residence were numerous plastic baggies and digital scales.
Deputies took into custody Donald Handlin, 32, of Nacogdoches, and Lindsey Davis, 28, of Lufkin, for manufacture or delivery of a controlled substance. Both suspects were booked into the Nacogdoches County Jail and are being held on $50,000 bond.
