TX drug dog sniffs out $1.5 million in cocaine

Rosenberg, Texas (KETK) — A well-trained pup and a traffic stop led the Fort Bend County Narcotics Task Force to a cocaine discovery worth $1.5 million, Tuesday.
FBCNTF pulled over an 18-wheeler in Rosenberg on U.S. Highway 59 and Farm to Market Road 2218, when an investigator and his K-9 sidekick, Rik, spotted 48 bundles of cocaine in two suit cases. The drugs came out to 115 pounds.
Criminal charges have not been filed but are expected to be by the end of the week.
