Tyler man arrested on parole violation, assault with a deadly weapon
Tyler, TX (KETK) — Early Thursday morning, the Smith County Sheriff's Office and the U.S. Marshal Service arrested a fugitive in the 23,000 block of Pine Drive in Smith County.
After a month-long investigation, Brandon Kyle Smith, 28, of Tyler, was arrested without incident on a Governor's Blue Warrant for parole violation and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
Smith was previously arrested for assault on a public servant, aggravated robbery and possession of a controlled substance.
Three other people were at the residence at the time of Smith's arrest. No charges are expected to be filed against them.
