Tyler man sentenced to 99 years for sexual assault of child
Tyler (KETK) — A Smith County Judge sentenced a Tyler man to 99 years in prison without parole for sexually assaulting a child.
Marquette Rashaud Moore, 29, was found guilty of aggravated sexual assault of a child under the age of six in the 114th District Court, according to Smith County Assistant District Attorney Jacob Putman. The Honorable Christi Kennedy was the presiding judge.
Moore's rap sheet included crimes from theft to multiple driving while intoxicated charges. He had no other sexual assaults, according to the Smith County Jail's website.
