Tyler PD investigating shooting at local apartment complex

The Tyler Police Department is seeking the help of the public in finding the person(s) responsible for a Thursday night shooting.

According to officers, around 10:00 p.m., Thursday night, police were dispatched to the Bullard Creek Apartments located at 5621 Old Bullard Road in reference to a shooting.

Once on scene, investigators determined an unknown person fire several rounds into an apartment unit. Thankfully, the tenant of that apartment was not injured.

Detectives with the Major Crimes Unit were called to the complex to begin an investigation while Crime Scene Investigators gathered evidence. There is so description or information on the he accused shooter at this time.

CrimeStoppers will pay up to $1,000 for information leading to the arrest and charges filed against those involved in this case.
