Tyler Police are investigating a robbery that happened at a local apartment complex Saturday night.

It happened at 10:07 p.m. in the 3000 block of Old Omen Road at the Village at the U Apartments. Tyler Police were called to the scene for reports that a robbery had occurred.

On arrival, officers made contact with a Domino's pizza delivery driver who said he was robbed at gun point.

The victim said he was walking upstairs to one of the buildings to deliver a pizza when a man in a dark hoodie approached him.

The suspect then retrieved a black semi-automatic handgun from his pocket and ordered the victim to hand over all his money and the food.

The suspect is described as a black male with a thin build. He is about 20 to 30 years old and is 6 feet tall. He was last seen wearing a dark hoodie.

There is no further information at this time, but Tyler Police are investigating the incident.
