Harrison County, Tx — UPDATE: Thanks to a caller's tip and security at a Shreveport casino, Lynn Dorsey Smith has been captured and is in the Bossier Parish Jail.
Original Story: East Texas authorities are searching for an alleged thief with a gaming addiction.
Harrison County authorities are asking for the public's help in tracking down 60-year-old Lynn Dorsey Smith.
Investigators suspect Smith may be in and out of Shreveport casinos due to his apparent addiction.
Authorities report the supposed bandit has pawned several items taken in a July Harrison County theft.
Officials say the suspect is most likely in the Shreveport area due to the items being pawned in the Louisiana pawn shops in both Bossier City and Shreveport. He is believed to be driving an older red Dodge pickup with the broken back glass taped. An arrest warrant has been issued for felony theft.
