Update: ETX law enforcement locates dangerous fugitive

Update: Law Enforcement authorities in Henderson, Texas arrested Blake Everett Reed on Friday, October 5, 2012.  Reed was arrested when authorities received a CrimeStopper tip on his location.  Thanks to the media we received numerous tips on possible locations of Reed that eventually led to his arrest. 


East Texas authorities are  seeking the whereabouts of Blake Everett Reed, 26, of Tyler.

Reed is wanted for a violation of protective order and has an extensive history of criminal activity in Wood County. He is considered very violent. 

Reed's bond has been set at $1,100,000.00.

The suspect is described as a white male, 6' 4", with brown hair and brown eyes. He has lived at addresses in Tyler, Mineola and Hawkins.

Reed may be hiding out the Wood County area. Anyone with information about this suspect is urged to contact the Tyler Police Department, at 903-531-1000, or Crimestoppers at 903-597-CUFF (903-597-2833).
