Tyler, TX (KETK) — KETK received word of a rumored incident on the Robert E. Lee High School campus resulting in a lockdown on Friday afternoon.
The incident happened around 1:30pm.
Tyler Police officials tell KETK that a caller claimed there was a man in a truck "weilding a knife", who had pulled into the Robert E. Lee High School parking lot.
Police arrived on scene to discover that the man was actually a student, who had a tree saw.
However, no threats had been made and there were no criminal violations.
The school had been placed under temporary lock down, but was given the all-clear not long after the incident began.
