Victim of alleged Longview robbery dies from gunshot wound

The man who was shot at a Longview night club died Wednesday from his wounds. Authorities have still not located the triggerman.

According to the Longview Police Department, Jorge Luis Pinon-Frias, 22, of Longview was shot in the Club Reo parking lot at around 1:43 a.m. on November 17. The business is located in the 4700 block of West Loop 281.

When officers arrived at the scene, they found the victim with a gunshot wound. He was taken to a local hospital with major injuries. Both suspects left the area before authorities arrived.

The suspects are believed to be two men. One of the suspects is described as 5 foot 6 inches tall and was possibly wearing a blue hoodie. At this time police believe the motive for this attack was robbery.
