VIDEO: TX widow puts up billboard to find husband's killer
Houston, Texas (CNN) — The family of a Houston man who was killed one year ago this month are hoping a billboard will help crack the case.
Police say three men shot John Martinez, October 13th, 2012, outside his home and took his wallet and cellphone.
His wife says their son discovered his body.
The Martinez family has now placed a billboard along I-45.
It's advertising a $5,000 Crime Stoppers reward for information leading to the arrest of his killers.
Detectives believe the same people may have already killed another victim.
Criss Knight was murdered 28 days after Martinez with the same gun.
