Waco man accused of killing his 2-month-old infant
WACO (KWKT) — A Waco man has been charged with capital murder in the death of his 2-month-old infant.
According to the Waco Police Department, 911 dispatchers received a call on Saturday on reports of an infant not breathing at an apartment in the 2500 block of E. Lake Shore Drive. The child was taken to a local hospital and flown to Scott & White McLane Children Hospital in temple.
The infant had multiple injuries and was eventually taken off life support Sunday. Bell County Judge G.W. Ivey ordered an autopsy. The child was taken to the Dallas County Medical Examiner’s Office for autopsy.
Following an investigation into the incident, Anton Juel Henry, 27, was arrested and charged on Tuesday with capital murder at the Waco Police Department. He is accused of killing his child, Jaden Juel Henry.
The joint investigation included Special Crimes, Crimes Against Children and CPS.
