Woman arrested in connection with passing fake $50 bills in Tyler

Tyler (KETK) — The Tyler Police Department has arrested a woman in connection with counterfeit bills being passed in the Tyler area.
According to Public Information Officer Don Martin, the woman involved in using $50 bills is Jalecia Ann White, 25, of Tyler. She has been charged with two counts of forgery of money.
Judge Skeen set her bond at $100,000 on each charge.
TPD issued a picture on Tuesday in an attempt to identify the suspect. She allegedly passed fake money at the Dairy Queen and Family Dollar on Gentry Parkway.
This investigation is ongoing.
