Cujo cornerback talks about his high school days at Media Day
Newark, N.J. — John Tyler is no stranger to the Super Bowl.
Aaron Ross went to the big game twice and he won it both times.
Jeremy Lane is trying to do the same thing.
He's the Cujo cornerback for the Seattle Seahawks and he talked about his high school days at Media Day.
"It's amazing coming from Texas," Lane said. "Texas is a football state."
"We create a lot of players that come to the NFL and do pretty well," Lane added. "I'm just grateful to be one of them."
Lane and the Seahawks will play the Broncos in the Super Bowl.
It will be broadcast on FOX 51 Sunday afternoon.
Pregame starts at 1:00. Kickoff will be at 5:30.
"This team is full of passion, guys that love to play the game," Lane said of his Seahawks. "The passion, it fits right in with this team."
And it all started for him at John Tyler High School.
"Texas football is like a state," Lane said. "We're the state that, if you want to play football, come to Texas because we love it so much."
