Five of the 10 were Texas cities. Luckily, but not surprisingly, Houston was not among them.

Texas’ five culinary quagmires, according to Movoto, are Garland, El Paso, Laredo, Fort Worth and Corpus Christi.

I'll agree with Laredo and Corpus- don't know anything about Garland or El Paso, disagree on Ft. Worth.
Unfortunate that Corpus has such poor dining choices- I visit there regularly and one would think that there would be at least one good quality seafood or Mexican restaurant there- but I have found NONE. Have to go up Mustang Island to Port Aransas to find quality.
Ft. Worth and Garland also abut communites with tons of fine dining- so Movoto's opinion is flawed there.
