Dad accused of hit-and-run on daughter

ARIZONA — Arizona police are searching for a man accused of intentionally running over his daughter and her friend.

Investigators say Faleh Hassan Almaleki, an Iraqi immigrant, ran down his daughter Noor Faleh Almaleki and Amal Edan Khalaf in a Peoria parking lot on Tuesday.

Almaleki was driving a silver Jeep Grand Cherokee with Arizona license plates at the time.

Sources say he was upset that his 20-year-old daughter was becoming "too Westernized".a
