Darryl Primo has released his victory statement for his re-election as the Gregg County Commissioner.

First, thank you! I am grateful for your continued support and wish to thank all of our friends
and supporters who helped make this victory possible. It was a real team effort.

Our campaign was about TAXPAYER FOCUSED IDEAS for the future, such as:
A long overdue County Unit Road System to save taxpayer funds and remove political favoritism from road decisions!
Free WI-FI Service extension around the courthouse for taxpayer use. The future is "mobile to mobile" and taxpayers deserve an investment in technology that facilitates information flow and job creation!
Annually disclose total compensation of ALL elected officials, because taxpayers have a right to know how much their politicians make!
A central Tax Office with convenient drive-through lanes offering improved service that will re-capture useful Courthouse space and relieve many downtown parking issues!

End Local Government "taxation by valuation" that guarantees increased taxes regardless of tax rate!
Convert County fleet to natural gas for immediate operational savings and job creation in the important East Texas oil and gas sector!
A "Text- Call" System, notifying summoned jury pool members when unneeded for juries, to avoid "waiting in line" at the Courthouse!
A "Receipt" feature for all electronic voting machines, to safeguard votes, secure ballot integrity and promote liberty!
Adopt an evidence preservation policy for all County Law enforcement, to champion the innocent and convict the guilty!
Idea's that benefit people.

I will continue advocating for these measures, but I am only ONE voice. I ask the County Judge and Road Commissioners to put aside their political issues and join with me to support these and other idea's that can improve county services for all citizens in Gregg County.

I look forward to continuing my service as the 'Conservative Voice' on the Gregg Commissioners Court.
Thank you again"
