Day Care businesses on the rise

The city of Jacksonville held ribbon cutting ceremony for a new child care business last week, and it's an industry that has seen steady growth, as parents find themselves busier year after year.

Cindy Rudd owns the new Kid's Klub facility in Jacksonville, as well as Tiny Town in Tyler and Bullard Early Education Center.

She says she has seen day care facilities come and go, but says the need for this industry has never been greater.

According to the Small Business Development Center, they project that day care businesses will continue to grow over the next few years as the economy slowly gains back strength, as well as more women continue entering the full time workforce.

But according to Rudd, no matter what happens with the business trend, it still takes a passion for children to be successful.
