Hundreds of protesters and counter-protesters rallied Sunday in New York near Ground Zero, and near the site of a proposed mosque.

A new Time Magazine poll finds more than 60% of Americans are opposed to the mosque.

Brian Mooar has the story from Washington.

I think we have the right to be Islamophobic if we are, though I don't think we were until this mosque came up at Ground Zero.

The American people are not willing to sit back, be persecuted for mentioning Christ or the Bible, and allow Muslims to dishonor those who died on 9-11 while honoring those who murdered them. If the actions of those wishing to build this mosque have caused Americans to say no more it is not because we are Islamophobic, it is because we see the writing on the wall.

I believe the question should be asked of Congress, the President, media print and electronic, Supreme Court and the lower courts, are they Christian phobic?

From everything that I have been hearing and seeing they hate Christianity. No crosses on the highways, no prayer in school, can't say Jesus in prayers without being fired, covering a cross, no Bibles allowed anywhere in school.

Sure does appear they are the biased and phobic ones. Right back at you Time Magazine.
