Mitt Romney has snagged the endorsements of three Texas congressmen, including the chairman of the National Republican Congressional Committee.

U.S. Reps. Pete Sessions, R-Dallas, head of the NRCC; John Carter, R-Georgetown; and Mac Thornberry, R-Clarendon, have thrown their support behind the former Massachusetts governor, the Romney campaign is announcing Thursday. Last week, Romney was in Houston picking up the endorsement of former President George H.W. Bush; he previously announced a nod from Texas House Speaker Joe Straus, R-San Antonio.

The Headline is misleading and should read "a few congressmen". I'm very glad to read Louie Gohmerts name is NOT on this list of those who would sell our state (and nation) down the financial river of ruin to stay in office. Ron Paul (from Texas) is our conservative voice in the Republican party and shoud be supported up to the convention in August as he has stated that he will introduce those conservative planks to the party platform that the Liberal republicans (Romney) do not represent.

This should be a clear message to voters of how far from Texas principles SOME of our Congressmen have become. Ron Paul represents Texas conservatism, Romney is a Mass. Liberal, creator of Obamacare, a flip-flopping stand for nothing politician. Ron Paul has a long record of integrity voting for smaller govt. real spending cuts. IfI thought Louie Gohmert supported Romney then I wouln't vote for Louie. Ron Paul is known as the grandfather of the TEA Party for his record of voting against spending
