DIBOLL, TX —  The Diboll City Council on Monday approved a measure allowing the Angelina County and Cities Health District to regulate and inspect tattoo, body piercing and tanning facilities in the city.

Terry Free, environmental director with the Angelina County and Cities Health District, told council members that under the proposed regulations, tattoo, body piercing and tanning facilities would pay for an annual permit and would undergo an inspection a minimum of twice annually, similar to restaurants.
